Valve Index Porn: VR Sites and Players That Work on the Index

The Valve Index is a PC headset. It has no browser and no video player of its own: everything runs through SteamVR on a computer, plugged in by DisplayPort. What matters is what a site tells PC owners to do, and many sites write that for the HTC Vive and leave the Index out.

We read the official pages of the sites we review and wrote down what each one says about the Index: the player it names, the file it offers and the page where it says so. Where a promo line or a scene description is the only evidence, the text below says that.

Best VR porn sites for Valve Index, ranked

Seven sites name the Index and tell you how to play their scenes on it. They're ordered by our overall score, explained in how we rate VR porn sites.

Virtual Real Gay and Virtual Real Trans carry the same WebXR page as Virtual Real Porn, Index included, so their route is the same browser one. POVR and Fap House VR name the Index without saying how to use it: POVR on its about page, Fap House in a how-to section titled "Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Valve Index" whose text didn't load for us. Both sit in the table below.

Every site that names the Index

Seventeen sites write the word Index on an official page. Eleven do it on help, how-to, guide or about pages, six only in passing.

The six thin mentions are VR Hush, VR Latina, VR Conk, StripzVR, VRB Trans and VRB Gay: promo text, scene descriptions, cam pages or a passing blog line.

VR Conk, VRB Gay and VRB Trans belong to the VR Bangers network, whose own last clear statement on the Index was a no (more on that below). Their mentions of the headset are thin.

Sites with a PC route that never say "Index"

Twenty-nine sites explain PC VR, usually for an HTC Vive, and never write "Index". The Index runs on the same SteamVR, but none of these sites vouches for it.

Eleven sites mention neither the Index nor a PC route on any page we could read: Amore VR, Brazzers VR, ForbVR, Glamour VR, Kink VR, Lethal Hardcore VR, Taboo VR Porn, TMW VR Net, Up Close VR, We Fuck VR and X Virtual.

ForbVR, Lethal Hardcore VR, Taboo VR Porn and Up Close VR are Adult Time channels, so the Chrome line above is the nearest thing to an answer for them.

Kink VR's scene blurbs, republished on Fap House, say "grab your Quest 2, Valve Index or Oculus Go", but kinkvr.com itself had nothing we could read.

SexLikeReal and VR Bangers: the two no's

Both lean no on their own pages, and both have other pages that say the opposite.

SexLikeReal's help center article on supported devices lists PCVR under "Not supported (headsets)". The Index is PC-only, so that covers it. Yet the homepage still mentions "PCVR setups such as the Valve Index", and a 2023 blog post by SLR's editorial team calls the Index "a suitable headset" and "a good device for watching videos up to 5K without passthrough".

The blog's route is to install "the VR porn app", open SexLikeReal.com in its browser and stream. We count SLR as a no, because the help center is the page written to answer exactly this question. If you already own an Index, the blog route is the one to try, knowing support may not back you up.

VR Bangers' only direct statement is from a 2020 blog post that recommended the headset while admitting "our VR porn scenes do not yet offer support for Valve Index VR goggles". Nothing newer takes it back, and there's no Index device page.

Its current Vive, Rift and Windows MR pages do give a PC route: SteamVR plus PLAY'A, then "Add Website" with vrbangers.com. That is the path an Index owner would follow, but no VR Bangers page since 2020 confirms it works.

VR porn players for the Index on Steam

On an Index the player is a Steam app. These are the ones VR porn sites name, with Steam prices from 5 November 2026.

How to watch VR porn on a Valve Index

There are three routes, and the site picks which one: a browser, a player app with its own browser, or a downloaded file. All three start with SteamVR running.

Route 1: stream in a PC browser (VRPorn.com, Virtual Real sites)

1. Connect the Index and start SteamVR.
2. Open VRPorn.com in Microsoft Edge on the PC and press the VR mode icon on a scene.
3. Accept Edge's prompt to launch VR. You may need to press the VR icon again.
4. Put on the Index.

Those are VRPorn.com's steps. Virtual Real Porn, Gay and Trans also stream through WebXR in the browser, and their WebXR pages name the Index as a supported headset. Adult Time's admin says desktop Chrome works with SteamVR headsets, though its own guide disagreed at the time.

Route 2: stream inside a player app (Czech VR, VR Bangers network)

1. Install the player from Steam: HereSphere for Czech VR, PLAY'A for the VR Bangers sites.
2. Open the site inside it. In HereSphere that's czechvrnetwork.com/heresphere; in PLAY'A use "Add Website".
3. Log in and play.

Route 3: download and play the file (BaDoinkVR, Dark Room VR, Virtual Taboo)

1. Download the scene on the PC. On BaDoinkVR, choose the Valve Index 6K version.
2. Start SteamVR.
3. Open the file in DeoVR, SKYBOX, Viveport Video or whichever player the site names.

For Dark Room VR and Virtual Taboo this is the only route, since both mark PC streaming as not available. A local file also doesn't depend on your connection.

What the PC has to handle

Valve's minimum is a GTX 970 class card. Large VR porn files ask for more, and the PC can cap what plays.

• Memory: 8 GB RAM
• Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD RX 480
• Ports: DisplayPort 1.2 (HDMI isn't supported) and a USB port

The system requirements come from search excerpts of Valve's Steam Support pages, and the HDMI note from Valve's old Index kit page on the Steam store.

For video the bar rises. DeoVR's Steam page asks for an NVIDIA 10xx or 20xx card for 5K and 6K. Dark Room VR, Virtual Taboo and VRPorn.com all say higher-resolution files need HEVC codecs installed, and Dark Room and Virtual Taboo warn that the PC can cap the resolution.

The panel itself is 1440 x 1600 per eye. Valve gives no field of view in degrees, only "approximately 20 degrees more" than the HTC Vive, and the third-party figures disagree. So unlike on our Pico page, we don't do pixels-per-degree arithmetic here. The one file encoded for this panel is BaDoinkVR's Valve Index 6K.

Buying a Valve Index in November 2026

You still can, while stock lasts. Valve has stopped making the Index, cut the headset price by 20%, and has opened reservations for the Steam Frame.

Valve's store page reads: "Valve Index is no longer being produced." The store page carrying that notice was published on 13 October 2026. Owners lose nothing: "it is still supported on Steam and SteamVR."

Valve also says a full set is required to use the Index: headset, controllers and base stations. The page we captured priced only the headset and a replacement tether ($103.20, was $129). Controller and base station prices weren't on it, so we can't confirm a complete kit can still be put together from Valve's store.

For VR porn the Frame's case is pixels: 2160 per eye across against 1440, with no cable and no base stations. The price of entry is $1,059. Can you watch VR porn on a Valve Index?

Yes, through a PC running SteamVR. Stream in a browser, stream inside a Steam player like HereSphere or PLAY'A, or download and play the file. 17 of the 59 sites we checked name the Index on their own pages.

Does SexLikeReal work on the Valve Index?

Its own pages disagree. The help center lists PCVR as not supported, while the homepage still names the Index. A 2023 blog post calls it a suitable headset and describes streaming through "the VR porn app".

Is the Valve Index discontinued?

Yes. Valve's store says the Index is no longer produced and sells the remaining headsets at $399.20, down from $499. For existing owners, Valve says the Index "is still supported on Steam and SteamVR".
