I'm Nerio Valtieri. Every review on VR Porn Expert is written by me, and every score comes out of my own headset time.
I got into VR years before I ever pointed it at porn. Sim racing on a secondhand headset, then an original Quest, then too much money spent on lens inserts and link cables. Somewhere along the way I realized adult VR sites were being ranked almost entirely by which one paid reviewers the fattest commission, and nobody was checking whether the files even played smoothly. So I started checking.
The setup
Four headsets stay in rotation: a Meta Quest 3 as the daily driver, a Quest 2, a Valve Index tethered to a desktop PC, and a Pico 4. The Quest 2 stays around on purpose. Half the people reading this site own one, and a scene that looks clean through the Index can fall apart under Quest 2 compression.
Testing follows the same routine on every site: stream first over 5GHz Wi-Fi, then download the largest file offered and play it locally in DeoVR or the site's own app. I check how playback holds up at 8K, whether passthrough and 6DoF actually work, and whether toy sync is real support or just a checkbox on the tour page.
How the scores work
Each site gets scored on four pillars: content quality, technical experience, user interface, and value for money. The weighting and full criteria are laid out in how we rate VR porn sites.
One thing I want to be plain about. This site earns affiliate commissions when you sign up through our links; that money pays for the subscriptions. It does not move the scores. A site that pays a bigger commission and tests at 4/10 gets published as a 4/10.
