Up Close VR Review
53 solo VR scenes with an interview before each one, 51 of them 8K. Paused since January 2026. Comes with the Adult Time membership rather than a subscription of its own.
One performer, one conversation, and no new scene since January
Last new scene: January 22, 2026 Visit Up Close VR →Introduction
Up Close VR is 53 scenes and 56 performers, which tells you the format before I do: one woman per release, and almost nobody twice. Each scene opens with her talking to camera, then the scene itself, shot closer than anything else on the Adult Time VR shelf.
It is also stopped. The last release landed on 22 January 2026 and nothing has followed in seven months, on a channel that ran monthly. Everything below is about a catalog that is finished rather than growing.

Does It Cost Extra?
No. Like its sibling channels, upclosevr.com has its own checkout and that checkout sells the Adult Time membership: $2.95 for three days rebilling at $29.95 a month, $19.95 a month, or $143.40 a year, which is $11.95 a month. Downloads are annual-only.
Since the channel costs nothing on its own and cannot be bought on its own, the usual question does not apply. Nobody has to decide whether 53 scenes justify a subscription. See the Adult Time VR review for what the membership actually buys.
How Up Close VR Scored in 4 Key Areas
1. Content Quality
53 scenes from December 2023 to January 2026, with nine of them in the last twelve months and all nine in the first three weeks of that window. A monthly channel that goes quiet for seven months is not between releases.
What is there is distinctive. All 53 carry the Adult Time Original badge, 37 open with an interview segment, and POV sits on 51. No roleplay, no premise, no script: an introduction and then the scene.
The trouble is arithmetic. 53 scenes of a distinctive thing is a short evening, and a short evening that will not get longer.
Score: 6/10
2. Technical Experience
51 of the 53 master at 8K, the other two at 5K. Runtime averages 36 minutes, which is normal for the format and short next to the hour-long scenes on Taboo VR Porn.
The camera position is the actual technical story. The rig sits closer than standard VR framing, and in a headset that changes the scene from something you watch into something happening at arm's length. It is the one thing here nobody else on this shelf tried.
180 degree stereo throughout. No 6DoF, no passthrough.
Score: 8/10
3. User Interface and Navigation
The models index is the part that breaks. On a normal channel it is how you find more of someone; here almost every performer has exactly one scene, so the index is a wall of names that each lead to a single video. The platform was not built for a catalog shaped like this and it shows.
The videos page is fine, because 53 scenes fit on two screens and date order is all the sorting anyone needs.
In the headset it is the same browser player as the rest of the platform, plain and serviceable.
Score: 6/10
4. Value for Money
Nothing to weigh. The channel is free inside a membership, so 53 scenes at 8K with a format nobody else runs is pure upside for anyone already paying.
What it cannot do is justify the membership by itself, and I would not point anyone here as a reason to subscribe. A closed shelf is a closed shelf.
Score: 7/10

Cast
Fifty-six women have been through here, and hardly any of them twice. Emma Rosie, Gal Ritchie, Ella Reese, Tessa Thomas, Lilly Bell, Charlie Forde, Kimmy Kimm and Stevie Moon each appear once, and so does nearly everyone else.
That is a deliberate choice and an unusual one. Most channels build regulars because viewers follow people; this one used each booking once. Good for sampling faces, useless if you want to follow one, and worth knowing before you go looking.
Devices and Formats
| Device | Supported | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Meta Quest 2 and 3 | Yes | Opens in the headset browser directly. |
| PCVR | Yes | 36-minute 8K files stream acceptably on a decent line. |
| Mobile VR | Partly | Works, though close framing at phone resolution loses the effect. |

Who Will Enjoy It
- Adult Time subscribers who want VR without a script. Half an hour, one woman, no premise.
- Anyone curious about close-framed VR, which is the one thing this channel did that its neighbours did not.
- Viewers who like sampling new faces rather than following a regular cast.
Skip it if you follow specific performers, if you want a catalog that is still growing, or if you need downloads without the annual plan.

Final Verdict
Up Close VR did the one thing none of its neighbours attempted: a single woman, a conversation, and a camera close enough to make wearing the headset the point. 51 of its 53 scenes are 8K and the format holds up on every one of them.
Then it stopped, and seven months of silence on a monthly channel reads as shelved. That turns this into a recommendation with a short shelf life: spend an evening here if you already pay for Adult Time, because it costs nothing. Do not choose a VR subscription for it.
Verdict: a good idea that ran for two years and then stopped at 53 scenes.
Resolution: claimed vs. what the catalog holds
Up Close VR advertises 8K. We hold 53 scenes from the site, and this is how they break down.
| Resolution | Scenes | Share |
|---|---|---|
| 8K | 51 | 96% |
| 5K | 2 | 4% |
Pros
- 51 of the 53 scenes master at 8K
- A format nothing else on the shelf runs: one performer, an interview, close framing
- All 53 badged as Adult Time Originals rather than licensed material
- Included in the membership, so the closed catalog costs you nothing to look at
Cons
- No release since 22 January 2026, seven months on a monthly channel
- 53 scenes is the smallest VR catalog I have counted
- Almost nobody appears twice, so there is no performer to follow
- The models index is close to useless with one scene per name
Skip Up Close VR if…
- You follow specific performers. There are 56 women across 53 scenes and almost no repeats
- You want a catalog that is still growing. This one has been quiet for seven months
- You will not take the annual plan, which is the only tier with downloads
53 close-framed solo VR scenes, 51 in 8K, included with the Adult Time membership at $11.95/mo on the annual plan.
